Live Edge Cutting Board

Created from a single slab, interspersed with the finest local hardwoods, my Live Edge cutting boards are made in small batches to persevere the story only a single tree can tell, but add the stabilizing power of traditionally designed cutting boards. Made to last a lifetime with proper care and usage, my live edge cutting boards offer a distinctive look to any kitchen while cooking or showcasing your beautiful cooking space while not in use; you are not going to want to put this in the drawer.

I purposely do not put feet on my boards to encourage using one side for cutting and one side for display while not being used; just place a dish towel or wet paper towel underneath board while cutting to prevent any kind of movement. I love making pieces that also act as a centerpiece, removing unnecessary clutter from already crowed spaces.

All of my boards come pre-finished in FDA certified food safe oil and beeswax finished. Boards require very little maintenance. Handwash only with mild soap and water; towel dry immediately; reapply beeswax to ensure protection against wood staining and prematurely drying out of board. If board becomes dry, re-apply cutting board oil and wax of choice. Board can be re-finished with sandpaper if deep knife cuts are made to return to its original luster.

Due to natural variability in grain, color, and orientation, your vase will be slightly different than pictured. These are made in small batches and I will update photos when new product is added.
